Are you passionate about finance and eager to kickstart your career in investment data analysis? Our team is seeking a motivated Investment Data Researcher to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our client’s investment data. As an Investment Data Researcher, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients’ financial operations by diligently researching and resolving data issues, collaborating with our development team to enhance reporting solutions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of both our product and our data workflow.

  • Work closely with clients and investment professionals to research and resolve ad hoc data inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Regularly review and address exceptions identified by routine integrity reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established standards. Examples of these reports include:
  • Mismatching Identifier Cleanup
  • Possible Duplicate Instruments
  • Missing Key Data Points (Ratings, Industries, Identifiers, Corporate Parents, etc.)
  • Collaborate with our development team to design and implement proactive reporting solutions for early identification of potential data discrepancies
  • Use analytical skills to identify areas where automated workflows require adjustment to improve data accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist developers with new tools to enhance operational efficiency when maintaining and editing data


  • Adapts quickly in fast-paced environments, possessing excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable communicating effectively (written and verbal) as well as working with clients and internal teams
  • Pays attention to detail and takes ownership and pride in delivering quality work outputs
  • Is detail-oriented and enjoys understanding and untangling complex problems or workflows
  • Takes initiative and ownership of job responsibilities and performs duties accurately and timely
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, and challenge-seeker
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related analytical field with 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible to work in the US without sponsorship


  • Fluency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and tools (such as Bloomberg Terminal)
  • Experience with investment management or finance-industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with SQL query language in either SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL is beneficial but not required
