Celebrating Our People & Culture
The first half of 2026 has been all about making space for our team to connect, recharge, and grow together. Showing up for one another every day is what defines our culture, and brings our core values to life.
From themed celebrations to global recognition days, here are some of the moments that made H1 special:
Themed Happy Hours
In January, our Kuala Lumpur office kicked off the festivities with Chinese New Year. Since then, teams across our offices have kept the celebrations going with Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day, and Cinco de Mayo. Most recently, we wrapped up June with a vibrant Pride-themed Happy Hour!
It’s been so much fun seeing everyone come together and get involved, and a perfect way to close out our monthly team meetings.
Appreciation and Inclusion
March gave us plenty of reasons to celebrate and show our gratitude to the people who make Siepe what it is.
- Employee Appreciation Day: We celebrated with a big thank you to everyone across our teams for their dedication and daily contributions
- International Women’s Day: We celebrated by giving the women across all our offices flowers as a small token of appreciation for all that they do.
Quarterly Team Building
Staying connected and creating lasting memories together is all part of what makes life at Siepe special, even if the activities look a little different depending on where you are. This year, our teams wrapped up Q1 in style with karaoke nights, bringing everyone together for an evening of fun, laughter, and a few great sing-alongs.
The fun didn’t stop in Q2! In the US, our Dallas crew headed to a Rough Riders game, the New York team cheered on the Yankees, and our Houston office enjoyed an afternoon with the Astros. Meanwhile, our Kuala Lumpur team took on a sporty obstacle course for their outing.
Award-Winning Talent
We are incredibly proud of our CFO, Chris Doty, who was named “Outstanding CFO – Small Private Company” at the 2026 DCEO Financial Executive Awards.
This was a real testament to his financial leadership driving our global expansion – including across the UK, Ireland, and Malaysia – to scaling our operations here in the States. Congratulations again, Chris!
Our Team at Industry Events
Outside our internal events and initiatives, the team has been busy on the road attending various conferences, connecting with clients, colleagues, and peers from across the industry. These have been great opportunities for us to share ideas and take part in important conversations – all while building and strengthening those relationships that matter most to us.
Sharing our Insights
Earlier this year, CEO Michael Pusateri was invited to take the stage for the Tech and Data session at SF Vegas, and Chief Product Officer Don Nilsson participated on a panel at the LSTA Ops and Tech event. Discussing everything from structured finance trends to the practical application of AI in fund management, we’ve been right in the middle of these conversations.
Building Connections
It hasn’t just been all work and no play! At SF Vegas we hosted our exclusive annual Craps event, then jetted off to the Cayman Islands for GAIM Ops, attended the U.S. Private Credit Industry Conference in Nashville, and then over to the Opal Midwest CLO Summit. We’ve also enjoyed hosting breakfast briefings with Optima Partners, and gatherings with the AIMA and Black Hedge Fund Network.
